Today which is 9/23/2014, budget movers of augusta move me, and i am very satisfied with the services i receive from them,before that i use
2 men and a truck and they charged me 500 dollars and the service was very poor, budget movers charged me half that and everything was done in a timely professional manner. God bless this company and their workers.

Rodney and his crew moved us in July and it was a great experience. They disassembled and reassembled all of my furniture. Nothing was damaged in the move. The owner's estimate was accurate. I will definitely use them when I move again!

Chris and Jay were my movers and were excellent. They packed up my apartment very quickly and efficiently, and they were friendly and good-natured. They unloaded the truck so fast, which helped me move into my new place must faster! I would definitely recommend this local company to others.

i needed furniture moved from downstairs to upstairs and upstairs to downstairs and some furniture moved in from my garage (very heavy furniture). Daniel and Jimmy arrived on time, followed all directions and got all the furniture in the right place in the right rooms. Beds and dressers had to be taken apart and put back together. They were very efficient and strong. They worked constantly without stopping and accomplished the job in a very short amount of time. Nothing broken, no walls scratched. I am so very satisfied with their work and if I ever had to move again, I would definitely call Budget Movers of Augusta.

Budget Movers did an excellent job in moving furniture and boxes between our two office buildings. The staff in the office and the movers themselves where very friendly. The two movers worked hard in getting the job done and even made suggestions on where to put certain furniture pieces in offices. The cost for the service was very reasonable. I definitely recommend them & would call them again if we have other items to be moved.

Without a doubt these guys made life easier. After 29 years and raising 3 boys in Evans, GA my husband and I relocated to North Carolina. We interviewed several moving companies but couldn’t find one to operate on OUR schedule. We moved to a rental for 1 year while we build our retirement home, so as you can imagine things were a bit crazy.

From the minute I met Jim who came out to give us our quote I liked him and felt at ease. They are a very relaxed, laid back company so not much excites them. They would do what ever we needed even if that meant unloading in North Carolina on a Saturday. I packed my own boxes, but they do that for you too if you’d rather. After 29 years I had no idea what was there. After all was said and done I think no body had an idea of what was there. It required an extra truck to move us but Jim stuck to his quote and didn’t charge us anymore, we added fuel costs for that truck which was a drop in the bucket. The guys who loaded us were the ones who unloaded us the next day. They even stopped to collect our storage unit in Augusta along the way. I could never thank them enough. We have already arranged for them to come back to North Carolina and move us 25 minutes down the road to our new home.

After all the horror stories you hear about moving companies this one is a dream. They were the most respectful and polite bunch of guys I have worked with in years. You’ll have a lot of great laughs too...😁

Thanks for everything guys we were dreaming to ever think we could have done this ourselves..😉

I moved on 5/1/2019 from my 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment to a storage unit. The millage was approximately .4 miles distance in between. I was charged $618.00. I will never use "budget movers" again. At the time I was 2 months pregnant and would've come our better carrying

Sorry to hear you feel you were charged unfairly. This type of move goes by the hour, not mileage, a lot of things are factored into that. Such as, how close they could park the truck to the house/apt, if stairs were involved, how ready you were, etc. Loading a truck takes the most time on a move because they have to pack the truck so the items don't move, wrap the items, etc. Since you were moving to a storage area. It was like packing 2 trucks, because the items have to be packed into the storage unit, the same manner they were packed into the truck. We do not get a lot of complaints of guys moving too slowly, as they want to get the job completed as quickly as you do. Seeing as this was 2 1/2 months ago, it's hard to research what exactly happened because the guys have moved a lot of people between then and now. I have made a note of your complaint and it will be discussed at our next meeting.
